I wanted to make snake sticker sheets for Year of the Snake. I made sketches and my snakes started looking like some sea creatures. I still liked them a lot and decided to color them and finish the stickers. I liked the end product but they looked like hybrids between snakes and sea creatures. That's where Serpentine comes from. 'The snakes' looked like pretty magical to me and that's why I wanted them to be Fairies. Serpentine Faries were born.

Still, I was heavily inspired by Year of the Snake. This is also why I used red and yellowish colors.

Two snakes are drawn 'half and half' so they can be split between journal lines.
